And, just like that, we are into February.How will our year be? How will our housing market present? So many unknowns. We will have a much better idea in the next few weeks when spring inventory comes on.
S.F. Association of Realtors MLS data shows that our most recent peak was in April of 2018 when median sales prices for single family homes hit $1,660,000 and condos hit $1,235,000. There has been a decline from the spring to January median prices where they were $1,450,000 and $1,160,000 respectively. Part of this is seasonal, but we will need to look at the 1st quarter 2019 data to have a better idea of market direction. Hang on!
