It’s a rare thing these days to meet a San Francisco native. Someone who knows the streets as well as he knows his name. Someone who understands the diverse mix of cultures and people here and feels a special connection to the unique local communities. Then again, you may have already met such a person. You may have already run into Rob La Eace.
Maybe you remember the kid who delivered prescriptions for the local pharmacy in Pacific Heights about 20 years ago. Maybe you’ve witnessed a firefighter at work, helping those in need. Or maybe you’ve seen Rob near his condominium building, chatting with neighbors. His passion for the area is woven through everything he does — and that’s the way it’s always been.
For Rob, there’s no better place to serve as a backdrop for his personal motto: “Live Well, Love Much, Laugh Often.” Growing up here has given him a unique perspective that has shaped both his life and his career. It started at the age of 12 with his delivery job, where he first learned the sense of satisfaction that comes from helping a neighbor.
Throughout his college career, this lesson shaped his goals and aspirations. Rob studied to be an EMT-Paramedic, a career that had both excitement and the chance to give back to his community. He also served as a reserve firefighter, and when the time came to test for the San Francisco Firefighter Academy, Rob placed 12th out of nearly 6,000 applicants.
Dedication At Work
This accomplishment is indicative of Rob’s tendency to strive to be the best at whatever he does. And as a firefighter, he knew this would be an asset in his career, where failure was not an option. Daily life soon included work on the Rescue Squad of San Francisco’s biggest fire station.
Helping people in times of crisis also helped Rob truly abide by his motto. Protecting the people of his community and their property helped him gain a greater appreciation for life, health, friendships and family. And a greater drive to continue to be an integral part of the neighborhood where he grew up.
Rob decided to put his drive and skills to work for people in everyday situations. While at first his decision to become a real estate agent might seem a big leap from his career as firefighter, for him it was a natural fit. It was another arena for Rob to utilize his in-depth area knowledge, passion for the community and ability to remain focused in stressful situations.
Committed To Your Goals
Today, Rob’s clients are glad he trusted his instincts with that decision. His career as a Realtor® is a success not only because of his history, but because of his dedication to the people here. “Live Well, Love Much, Laugh Often” — it’s easy when you put Rob in control of your next move. His commitment to your goals is evident in his attention to detail and his drive to make sure you get the best fit for your needs. Never one to rush into a situation unprepared, Rob will make sure that you understand all your options in this complex real estate market.
